The months flew by very fast again!

We have been to a couple of shows,
 and Vincent got two Res CAC.
And Maya got a BOB & BIG 4.
Betsy has been to her first two puppyshows,
and the result was two BOB &  BIG 3 & BIG 2.

Now we are preparing for the last show this year.
For Vincent and Maya anyway.
Betsy is going to the largest puppyshow in Scandinavia in late November.

Then we have a break until january.

I'm sorry, but time flies!
We have been to a few shows,Vincent took his 5th CAC,
we went to vistit Jilly in her new home and Betsy is growing fast.

This weekend we will be attending the Swedish Winner Show in Norrköping,
and Maya will be back in the ring after the puppies.
She has not been in a ring since january this year!

Summer is here...!
It's so beautiful, and it smell so good outside now.
The girls now have their own pages, go via Puppies/Litters or Bitches.
I will add some more pictures soon.

My oh my how time flies, the roses is already 7 weeks.

Spring to summer and spring again, all in just two weeks.
Vincent and I had time to go swimming,
while Maya took care of the little roses.

And the little girls turned 3 weeks today!

Well... We had some problems again.
This time it was three BIG puppies,
 and Maya had week contractions.
So now we have two beautiful girls in the litterbox.

Vincent have tried to take his first out door bath this year,
but he thougt it was too cold.
Maybe in a couple of weeks.

Maya knew all along, and I suspected it.....
Now it's confirmed by ultrasound!!!
Maya is pregnant!

AND.... Vincent took his 4th CAC in a row and placed as nr 4 best male,
at the International All Breed Show in Malmö last weekend!!!

Maya tricked us all and came in heat earlier than we expected.
So Anton came for a visit and they really had a great time together.

If everything goes allright, there will be little easter puppies.

New year, new shows.
We have been to the first shows of the year.
My Dog Int all breed show in Gothenburg X 2.

Day 1: Maya was BOB with CACIB .

Day 2: Maya 2nd best bitch with Res CACIB & Vincent 2nd best male with CAC.

That is what I call a great start of the new year.

Vincent has now got 3 CAC in a row, in less than a month.
That is very unusual in Sweden,
 because we have so many entered GD's at the shows.

Now we are looking forward to the next show in march.
In april , Maya will go and visit Anton again.

We have now been to the last show of the year.
It was also the largest Kennel Club show.
Stockholm International All Breed Show
75 great danes were entered !!!
Vincent was BOB with CAC and qualified for Crufts 2011.
All from juniorclass ! He is 12 months old !

And.... Maya was BOS with CACIB and qualified for Crufts 2011.

We have now decided to repeat the mating between Maya & Anton !

I know !
It's been a while.

We have been to the largest Great Dane show in Scandinavia.
Maya & Vincent won Best Brace.
Vincent won BOB Fawn puppy & BISS 3 puppy.
He also won BOSS the next day (all colours together).

Then in august we went to Norwegian Winner show in Oslo.
Maya was placed best of the swedish GD's.

After that we went to Norrköping where Maya was BOB & Vincent BOB puppy.

And in september it was time for Sofiro Int.
Maya was BOS & Vincent made his debut in official juniorclass.
He won the class with honor price.

We have moved back to my hometown Hörby.



And we love it !
 

2010-07-18

Since last time we updated, we have been to a few more shows.
And Vincent has turned 7 months.

At Jönköping Triple Dog Show, the last day became the best day for us.
Maya became 2nd best bitch with reserve CACIB and Vincent was BOB puppy,
and later he was picked out among the 10 best puppies out of over 60 of all breeds.

Then we went to Borås were Maya became BOB and Vincent BOB puppy.

A week later at Tvååker double show,
Maya was 2nd best bitch with reserve CACIB and 5th best bitch.
Vincent was BOB puppy both days.

Now we are enjoying the summer and longing for next week when it's time
for us to go to the largest Great Dane Speciality Show in Sweden.

Today I took the little ones,Vincent an Liza for a walk in the village.
Liza need the training to overcome her fear of cars.
It went really well,and of course Vincent was all over the place.

Vincent has got a new friend.
We are baby sitting a little girl.

Time goes by so fast.
Vincent will be 12 weeks on wednesday.

And soon it's finally time to go to a dogshow
Malmö Int, and two weeks after that it's time for StoKK Int in Stockholm.
And Maya is entering both.

Tomorrow it will be 2 months since Vincent became a part of this family.
He has caught up really nice so now he is "normal" in size and weight.
Maya just need to finnish her change of coat, then she will be fit for fight again.

Vincent has discovered how fun it is to play in the snow.
I have to bribe him to get him  inside.

Time goes by really fast.
Vincent is now 7 weeks old, and think that he is the king of the world.
He is a little terrorist...But I love him anyway.

Last year ended very well after all the trouble we had in the beginning of dec.
And hopefully we can look forward to a happy, healthy and successful year 2010.

Today Vincent has been with us for 6 weeks. Now he is starting to find his place in the pack.
He went outside for the first time today (for about 3 minutes).

Even though we missed the 2 biggest shows in nov-dec
Maya finished 2009 by becoming the 4^th top winning GD in Sweden. And 2^nd best bitch.

 Tilly ended her career becoming top winning veteran
and 3^rd best bitch and 4^th top winning among the basenjis in Sweden 2009.


  
Nimba became #1 brood bitch 2009.

 We would also like to congratulate Nimbas son,
Swedish Champion M Wami’s American Fortune Hunter,
becoming BIS Veteran at My Dog Int Show in Gothenburg the 8^th of january 2010.
 

We also congratulates our dear friends at Kennel Kenjaali
for Kenyas #1 bitch  and 2^nd top winning basenji 2009

I have finally found out what I am going to call Lilleman.
Vincent is his new nickname.

Lilleman 18 days today.
He is about to open his eyes now.
So in a few days he will be looking at me.

Maya is doing very well.
I think that it is time for me to relax and look forward to the hollydays.

Maya has gone thru more surgery, but she seems to be ok for the moment.
Lilleman is growing like he should be,and he has got his own page today.

Due to complications caused by a dead puppy, the labor started too early.
All puppies but one was stillborn.
He has got the nickname Lilleman for the time being.

 He was born on the 2^nd of December, only weighing 0,327kilograms.
But he is a real fighter and I am hopeful that he will make it.

 Maya is doing well rehabilitating after her C-section.

Maya is now 32 days pregnant, and it really shows.
 Being a first time mother, I think she is very big very early.
When you look at her from above,she still have a waist.
So it's not just food.
Hope there are not to many puppies ;0)
